Vikings Trade for Kicker/Punter Kaare Vedvik
On Sunday, the Minnesota Vikings acquired Kicker and Punter Kaare Vedvik
from the Baltimore Ravens. The Vikings surrendered a 2020 fifth-round draft pick for the special teams player, ESPN reporter Adam Schefter reported. As many as four teams were reportedly interested in Vedvik.

The Vikings kicking woes have been well documented in recent years. Kicker
Dan Bailey struggled in his first year with Minnesota last season, converting on just 75 percent of his attempts. Vedvik gives Minnesota some options with his versatility. With the ability to play both kicker and punter, the Vikings could free up an additional roster spot to use on another position for improved depth.
